On Monday, November 19, the Association of Hotel and Tourist Accommodation Entrepreneurs of Cartagena and its Region (hostcar) organized its traditional gala for the delivery of the Santa Marta Awards 2018 in Hidalgo.
Hostecar recognizes every year through its Santa Marta Awards the effort and work of those professionals, organizations and institutions, who with their work contribute to the development, promotion and image of the Hospitality and Tourism of Cartagena and its region.
Different sponsors and suppliers from the area participate in this great gala of the Cartagena hotel industry, some of them offer attendees a tasting of their products and flavors. so, our Loide room it became a true gastronomic market where guests could visit different gastronomic stations with the latest trends.
Next, the more than 500 attendees were able to enjoy a dinner served by the students of the Hospitality School in our altona lounge. The cooking students of said school also made a delicious dessert.

After dinner, the president of Hostecar, Mr. Juan José López Escolar, welcomed the attendees and explained the great challenges that the sector faces. Next, the Minister of Transparency and Spokesperson of the Regional Government, Mrs. Noelia Arroyo, intervened. After the interventions, the Santa Marta 2018 Awards ceremony began:

After the awards ceremony, attendees were able to enjoy a lively party with a special performance by Connect2.
